News: Zagreb Stock Exchange Trading Review for Q3 2026 01.10.2026 14:17 Compared to the previous quarter, the domestic capital market recorded a -21.5% decline in order-book turnover, while total turnover fell by -19.1%. Certain financial-instrument categories nevertheless saw higher trading volumes; for example, order-book bond turnover rose +53.4% and money-market instruments (commercial paper and treasury bills) increased +28.7%. Year-on-year comparison with Q3 2025 shows even stronger movements in key indicators. Although order-book turnover declined -14.8% and total turnover -17.5%, order-book market capitalisation grew +11.4%. Equity market capitalisation rose +10.3%, while ETFs posted particularly strong growth of +45.3%. Relative to the prior quarter, equity indices mostly moved moderately, with some posting gains: CROBEX10tr rose +0.7% and CROBEXturist +0.9%, whereas others recorded sharper corrections, e.g. CROBEXtransport (-8.7%). Year-on-year, equity indices delivered robust gains. CROBEX advanced +16.6%, while CROBEX10tr and CROBEX10 rose +23.2% and +19.8%, respectively. Among sector indices, CROBEXkonstrukt stood out with +32.3%, CROBEXtransport with +29.6% and CROBEXturist with +26.3%. In July, the Zagreb Stock Exchange ceremonially marked the start of trading in newly issued shares of BOSQAR d.d. following a successful secondary public offering (SPO), the largest such transaction in Croatian capital-market history. In August, the Slovenian investment firm ILIRIKA borzno posredniška hiša d.d. from Ljubljana became a new member of the Zagreb Stock Exchange via remote membership, marking the first time a foreign investment firm has obtained such status on the exchange. The Zagreb Stock Exchange also successfully organised this year’s PrimePlus webcast, a virtual event connecting listed companies with analysts and investors and showcasing their operations, results and plans. The webcast attracted around 80 analysts and investors from Croatia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, France, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the USA and Estonia, confirming continued investor-community interest in the Croatian capital market and companies listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
